Kuhmo 1.7.2006
Our junior driver Lars-Johan Lundmark (12years) has been driving for TBR
since last year in the class SJ 15, a junior class with 15 hp four stroke
engines and for age up to 14.
For this year we made him 2 boats in class SJ 15 and JT 250, also a junior
class with 15 hp two stroke engines and allowance to use clever propellers.
The idée behind this was that EC for JT 250 took place in Finland and TBR
had an old T400 boat available so!!
There was going to be 22 boats in Kuhmo in the European Championship from 10
nations and 1 driver from Finland, Lars-Johan Lundmark (team no.94).
We got some good propellers from Sweden which gave us the possibility to
fight for the championship. We did get some good speeds in the practice but
in the time trial we were only 19th?? From this position we had to start the
chase and he did a good job, first run 16th, second run 14th, third run 14th
and last run 12th. Unfortunately drivers took byos from wrong side and
crashed then and that mixed a little bit the final results.

Our position in the end was 15th in the
European Championship for JT250. The winner was Brolitis Arturs/ Latvia,
second Tabori Aron/ Hungary and third Sunde Nena Sovik/ Norway,
Congratulations!
Lars-Johan did also drive SJ15 and came 6th of 7, need some more speed here!
Altogether I think it was a good race and good training for him with over 40
km of driving per day. It can only get better from here.
